What is SurveyTracker Plus Survey Software?

SurveyTracker Plus is a line of survey software that distributes surveys by scannable form (for Scantron scanners), Web, paper (Non-Scannable), and USB thumb drive. SurveyTracker Plus provides everything you need in one package to create surveys, distribute them, collect the response data, and generate meaningful reports.

What are the differences between the various SurveyTracker packages?

SurveyTracker Plus is available in a number of different packages with most of the differences related to the distribution methods supported.

Is SurveyTracker Plus installed on my network or web server?

SurveyTracker Plus Network version is installed on your network server with client versions installed on the end user PCs. SurveyTracker Plus desktop versions are installed on the end user’s computer (on the local hard drive). SurveyTracker Plus itself is never installed on a web server and does not act as an ASP web service.

Is SurveyTracker Plus a Web-based Application or Web Service?

SurveyTracker Polus is a desktop or client/server application; it does not run on your web server nor is it software-as-a-service.

SurveyTracker Plus E-Mail/Web will generate web files and scripts for the user’s surveys that are uploaded to a web server.

SurveyTracker Plus also supports survey styles. The survey styles allow you to assign a standard layout/color template to the survey. SurveyTracker Plus includes a number of styles that you can use as-is or modify to suit your needs.

SurveyTracker Plus E-Mail/Web also offers Real-Time Reports on the Web.

How much drive space on my local computer does SurveyTracker Plus require?

SurveyTracker Plus Desktop versions have a base install around 250mb. Additional drive space is needed and is dependent on the number and size of survey projects. As a rule of thumb, we recommend at least 1 GB of available storage.

SurveyTracker Plus Network Client versions also have a base install of around 250mb but additional space is not required as project information is stored on the server.

SurveyTracker Plus Network Server has a base install of around 150mb. Additional drive space is needed and is dependent on the number and size of survey projects for all users. As a rule of thumb, we recommend at least 1 GB of storage. The more users and the more active they are, the more space you will need.

How many distribution methods can I use in a single survey project?

You may utilize as many delivery methods as you need for a single survey project. Base your distribution on the capabilities of your audience!

Can a design multi-lingual surveys in SurveyTracker Plus?

SurveyTracker Plus supports single-bit languages such as English, Spanish, French, Russian, German, and Italian. You can create a single survey based on one language and make copies of it for other languages or use multiple languages in the same survey.

Does SurveyTracker Plus support save and resume capability for respondents?

Yes, SurveyTracker Plus E-Mail/Web offers Save and Resume in web surveys on a Windows/ASP web sever. Save and Resume allows the respondent to save the survey at any point and resume it at a later time without losing responses. You must use passwords or e-mail invitations for web surveys hosted on your server or invitations when using save and resume with an auto-host web survey.

SurveyTacker Plus and Plus E-Mail/Web also offer Save and Resume when using Survey-by-USB/Kiosk survey distributions.
